Marketing and Recruitment Coordinator

We are a growing private business that is looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Executive to assist in the planning, execution, and optimization of our online marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for all things marketing and technology. You will be well-versed in the concepts surrounding digital marketing and how the Internet can become a strong asset to securing growing revenue. You will be tech-savvy and intuitive with great ideas to reinforce our marketing campaign and build brand awareness.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the formulation of strategies to build a lasting digital connection with existing and new clients
  • Plan and monitor the ongoing company presence on social media (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Google, NextDoor, Facebook, etc.)
  • Launch optimized online advertising through Google, Facebook, Instagram, NextDoor, etc. to increase company and brand awareness
  • Be actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimization, etc.) and algorithm trends
  • Prepare online newsletters and promotional emails and organize their distribution through company software
  • Provide creative ideas for content marketing and updates to the website
  • Collaborate with web designers to improve user experience
  • Measure the performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools.
  • Acquire insight into online marketing trends and keep strategies up-to-date
  • Maintain partnerships with media agencies and vendors

Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Digital Marketing Coordinator or similar role
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
  • Experience with B2C social media, Google Adwords and email campaigns, and SEO/SEM
  • Perfect knowledge of web analytics tools
  • Skills and experience in creative content writing
  • Skills and experience in photography
  • Analytical mindset and critical thinking
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • BSc/BA in marketing or relevant field desired

Area Coordinator

The purpose of this position is to serve as area coordinator for assigned locations of Express Vets, LLC while aiding in the education, growth, and overall well-being of the company. The area coordinator is responsible for business activities of the clinics including training support staff; continued support and training of all staff members; working with the Operations Manager to prepare goals, incentives, and seasonal client-focused marketing; monitoring key performance indicators, and setting goals for the staff; maintaining inventory and an inventory control system; managing the hospital software; and implementing safety and security procedures. This is a leadership position with the additional responsibility of ensuring a positive work environment in which the practice achieves its goals. In addition to supporting the Operations Manager in various tasks. This position requires a practical knowledge of hospital organization and services, the basic rules and regulations governing visitors and animal patient treatment, data transcribing, word processing, and practical knowledge of the standard procedures, veterinary records, and terminology used in the hospital.

Major Duties:

  • Assist the Operations Manager in providing staff support, training, guidance, and direction.
  • Train new employees to a level of confidence in their position, job description, and completion of their phase training while continuing to support their goals and helping them excel in their position. Provide new employees with follow-up training and quizzes as needed, ensuring that they are meeting the standards of their job description.
  • Demonstrating a professional and friendly demeanor for employees to replicate, providing the staff with guidance and direction in a calming and professional manner, and consistently displaying a positive outlook on any concerns or challenges that may arise.
  • Creates an atmosphere of healthy work/life balance for the staff while building morale and helping staff to enjoy working at Express Vets.
  • Training and supporting all staff members on new protocols, marketing measures, equipment, software updates, or other operations of the clinic.
  • Maintaining a schedule of all employee’s birthdays, hire dates, and review dates.
  • Ensure the quality of client and patient care meets the standards of Express Vets, LLC.
  • Is accessible by staff while maintaining a professional relationship with them.
  • Demonstrates and follows the instruction of the Employee Manual while displaying punctuality, dependability, flexibility, and proficiency in all areas of the clinic including AviMark software, veterinary reception duties, veterinary assistant duties, veterinarian duties, the Express Vets model, the flow of the clinic, among other operational aspects of the clinic.
  • Promotes a client-centered environment and facilitates programs and processes that meet client needs.
  • Monitors the clinic flow, organization, cleanliness, and ensures that the staff completes the maintenance checklists.
  • Maintains Express Vets philosophy for attracting new clients and retaining existing clients.
  • Facilitates resolution of client problems that doctors or other staff members cannot finalize.
  • Resolves financial problems with clients by collecting delinquent accounts; determines when special financial agreements are appropriate.
  • Maintains and updates the position job descriptions, position manuals, and position phase training as applicable.
  • Reconciles monthly reference laboratory invoices and contacts reference lab to handle any discrepancies prior to approving for payment with CEO, Kristen Lewis.
  • Prepares monthly staff meeting notes to be sent to the operations manager no later than the 3rd week of each month for the following month.
  • Provide monthly incentives for the staff.
  • Provides quarterly inventory counts, maintains ordering points, updates expiration dates, and supports the operation manager in ordering, returning, or transferring inventory.
  • Ensures that each clinic has the appropriate staffing for each day and is flexible to fill in as needed.
  • Stays abreast of veterinary trends while utilizing continuing education opportunities.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of standard procedures used in all positions within the clinic including operational and professional excellence and physical performance.
  • Knowledge of the use, care, and storage of veterinary instruments, materials, and equipment as well as clinic equipment including but not limited to computers, fax, printers, and label printers.
  • Knowledge of sterilization and cleaning techniques to sterilize clinic, exam rooms, various instruments, and materials.
  • Knowledge of the instruments, materials, and standardized procedures used in the full variety of treatments to prepare and provide “tableside” assistance.

Physical Effort: Work often requires lifting and carrying which may weigh upwards of 50 lbs. Remember to ask for help when lifting larger items. Walks or stands for extended periods of time; frequently works in a bent position.
Working Conditions: Work often exposes the Area Coordinator to unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, and animal waste; may also be exposed to contagious diseases.
Travel Conditions: The position will require traveling to different Express Vets locations, various bank locations to make deposits, various supply stores to purchase materials or supplies for the clinics, as well as various meeting locations.


Facility Maintenance Coordinator

The Facility Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks and repairs at the various Express Vets clinic locations and the Express Vets Central Office. Repairs and maintenance tasks in several fields are required:
(carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, painting, etc.)

This position is part-time and reports to the CEO

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Paint, remodel, and refurbish areas as needed
  • Repair, maintain/monitor all equipment and amenities
  • Clean windows and glass door
  • Maintain clean ceilings around HVAC vents and returns, and ceiling tiles
  • Make sure exam rooms and lobbies are presentable to clients, repair damages and paint
    as needed
  • Remove and properly dispose of all recyclable materials, help break down boxes and
    distribute to cardboard dumpsters at various clinic locations
  • Change light bulbs, interior, and exterior, as needed
  • Must be able to work after closing on major repairs/maintenance that would cause
    disruption to business
  • Assist with moving larger items at needed in clinics or central office
  • Maintain exterior property, including snow and ice removal
  • Oversee entryways to clinics, making sure sweeping is done when needed, clean
    benches when needed, and help with any clinics that have outside potted plants to ensure there is a good system in place with clinic staff for watering and maintaining plants.
  • Thoroughly disinfect bathrooms, water fountains, sinks, utility sinks, mop buckets, and floors at all locations once a quarter, this will be done after closing
  • Clean all computers and printers (mainly the vents) to remove dust buildup once a month (use small shop vac, compressed air, and/or dusters)
  • Help with company events as needed (set up/clean up)
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned
  • Assist in certain areas of new clinic build-outs as assigned
  • Be on the lookout for safety hazards, sometimes clinic staff overloads an electrical outlet
    or stacks too many items on a shelf, or burns a candle too close to papers, etc, do these
    checks weekly
  • Be proactive, bring areas of concern to the CEO’s attention
  • Know your limits and communicate to the CEO when outside resources need to be
    called in for major repair issues

Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to work flexible hours within the part-time schedule
  • High school education or equivalent
  • 5-10 years of working experience in facilities maintenance
  • Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills; customer
    service oriented
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task
  • Must be able to attend a weekly staff meeting to receive job assignments
  • Must be able to travel to all locations and provide own transportation
  • Must provide own handy-man tools, the company will purchase (cleaning supplies,
    maintenance supplies, and other items per approval of CEO)
  • Must be willing to be flexible with the position as the company grows
  • Must always wear Express Vets shirts while working, work pants/jeans, and closed-toed,
    non-slip shoes

Physical Requirements/Environmental Conditions:

  • Ability to push/lift 75 pounds
  • Ability to climb ladders
  • Bending at waist, sitting, kneeling, climbing, walking, crouching, and standing for long
    periods of time as the job may require
  • Ability to work in extreme conditions both indoors and outdoors, sometimes in extreme
    temperatures in the winter/summer
  • Ability to work around animals (dogs and cats), ability to deal with animal fluids (urine,
    vomit, blood, feces)
