Meet Our Veterinarians

Dr. Stacey Triscik
Dr. Stacey Triscik received her undergraduate and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degrees from Oklahoma State University in 1997. She practiced in NW Indiana for over 10 years, before relocating to Georgia to be near family. Her professional interests include small animal internal medicine and surgery, as well as holistic and preventative medicine. She was one of the first in her area to become certified to perform Vet-Stem regenerative medicine in 2007.
Dr. Triscik and her husband reside locally with their two children. They also share their home with Jett, a crazy, fun-loving, black lab, and Finn, a sweet and fluffy Havanese (princess). When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Triscik enjoys gardening, yoga, tending to her many indoor plants, and traveling to beaches along the east coast.

Dr. Maria Salazar
Dr. Salazar received her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from North Carolina State University in 1997 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. After she graduated, she completed a Small Animal Medicine and Surgery Internship at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. She then moved to Boca Raton, Florida, where she practiced for four years. Afterward, she relocated to Woodstock with her family and has been here since then. Her primary interests include dermatology and ophthalmology, as well as preventative medicine.
Dr. Salazar lives in Woodstock with her family: she has three children, and their lives are completed by their fur babies Charlie, a sweet beagle mix; Happy, a beautiful long-haired gray and white kitty; Domino, a mischievous little kitten, and Sweet Potato, the feline princess of the house. When she is not at work, she enjoys her free time with her family at school football and basketball games, volleyball tournaments, mountain bike races, and dance recitals. Her hobbies include photography and gardening, and her favorite type of vacation is anywhere there is a beach! She is so blessed to be a part of such a special team where she can offer the very best medicine to maintain the health of your fur babies and the human-animal bond. Being fully bilingual in English and Spanish, she considers herself a useful team member able to help our Spanish-speaking community and their pets.
Meet Our Team

Ina Slavova
Ina is a Veterinary Assistant at Express Vets and joined our Holly Springs team in 2021. She was raised in Georgia after relocating from her birth place of Bulgaria where she found her passion for animals. In Bulgaria she grew up on a farm with lots of animals including goats, pigs, chickens and of course dogs! After moving to the states she received her undergraduate Bachelors in Biology and plans on moving forward with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Outside of work and school, Ina enjoys going on long hikes and exploring new trails with her crazy Aussie pup Jax.

Ty Barnhart
This is Ty, he is 5’10″, a Sagittarius who enjoys long moonlit walks on the beach and enjoys a great romance novel. As you have read, he also has a great sense of humor with an even greater love for animals! Ty has been a Veterinary Assistant since 2012 and is currently completing his undergraduate with the hopes to begin his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2024. He has 2 dogs (Aspen and Harper, both Australian Shepherd mixes), a wonderful wife (Kimber), and a beautiful son (Kade). Ty says, “I love Express Vets and the team I’m blessed to work with. I look forward to helping look after and care for each and every one of your sweet fur babies”.

Frelinda Hill
Frelinda’s passion for animals goes back as far as she can remember. Her life with pets has included a snapping turtle, monkeys, geese, turkeys, horses, and a cow. Currently, she looks forward to snuggling with her three cats. Her career in the veterinary field began early in 2021. Being a Veterinary Assistant at Express Vets excites her, and she loves learning new things every day. Helping pets and the people who care for them is her priority.
